Southern Twang Chicken Skewers

Make a fancy appetizer that is easy to prepare. Cook the meat the day before the party, and just before your guests arrive, heat, skewer and serve with heated Southern Twang dipping sauce.

Ingredients

3 boneless chicken breasts (serves 4)
Southern Twang sauce (1 cup)
4" Bamboo skewers (Toothpicks can be used)

Prepare chicken: Rinse the chicken breasts, coat with Southern Twang and cook on the grill until done.

Dice & Smother: Cut the chicken breasts into 1" cubes, place in a bowl and coat with Southern Twang sauce. You can refrigerate the chicken overnight. This marinating time will add extra flavor to the chicken. Save remaining sauce for serving.

Skewer & Serve: Take the pre-cooked/diced chicken, heat it up and place 3-4 chicken pieces on each skewer. Arrange on a decorative plate. Heat the remaining Southern Twang sauce and serve as a dipping sauce. If you want to get fancy, you can serve the sauce in a small fondue pot. It's a great way to keep it warm!
